Love(making) Game

People approach sexual intimacy in different ways, which is understandable, as there are many different facets to it. Sweet and tender, hot and fast, and everything in between - it’s a different spin on the lines, “How do I love thee? Let me count the ways” from one of literature’s most famous poems.

Nowadays, sex isn’t such a forbidden topic, unlike many years ago. And though it’s still not quite a topic to have in most polite conversations, it’s already at a point that most people know, in one way or another, that it is a basic human need. And like any other need, some people are at odds on how to go about with attaining it. It’s okay to have casual sexual relationships for some people; for others, being in a long-term relationship is a prerequisite to engaging in sex. Other people are timid when it comes to performing sexual acts, even when they’re already in a steady relationship, and there are yet others who are open-minded enough to experiment a little.

Regardless of people’s notions on sex, it’s undeniable that it’s a vital part of relationships between couples. For new couples, it’s an exploration of a different side of your partner. For couples in long-term relationships, it’s the mark of how comfort they are with each other, and how all the self-consciousness is already beyond them. However, comfort may be good, but too much of it leads right into the refusal to leave one’s comfort zone. When that happens, relationships hit a plateau, and oftentimes, it’s hard to get past that.

But new couple or old, some things could still add flavor to their lovemaking: a new couples game is making its grand entrance. It’s monopoly and erotica in one package. And while the rules are simple, those won’t be keeping the couple’s attention for long. People move around the game board by rolling the dice, and wherever they land, they get to buy that particular sexual favor for their own. But the fun part is when the opposing player lands on those spaces, and they have to perform those acts. Stripteases, foreplay, intercourse and orgasms lie ahead, and not necessarily in that order. It’s a couples games that can feel like a lifetime, yet at the same time, the hours don’t seem long enough and players are left longing for more.

Forget date night at the movies, or the romantic candlelight dinner, or even snuggling up by the fireplace. As people get to know each other, or get reacquainted with each other, the game lets them answer, “How do I love thee? Let me count the ways”.
